Student - How to Log In and Update Photo

This walkthrough will show you how to log in and update your profile photo.

1. Navigate to isss.olemiss.edu
   
    
2. Click Login
   
3. This will take you to the login screen.
   
    
   • If you are a New Student or Currently Enrolled in classes (or very recently graduated and you still have access to my.olemiss) you will use your UM Web ID to login.
        
   • If you are on OPT / STEM OPT or no longer have access to my.olemiss, you will use your email address and a password that you create to login. 
     . 
4. Once you login, it should look something like this
   
   • There are three tabs:
     1. Welcome to the International Portal
        • This tab has basic information and reminders about your visa type and how to navigate in the Student Portal.
          
           
     2. Personal & Program
        • This has biographical and contact about you as well as information about your academic program. Please Note: If you are a new student or currently enrolled (or have access to my.olemiss), you must update your address within my.olemiss. You cannot update your address here.
          
     3. Control Center
        • This is where you can submit specific types of request to the ISSS Office. The types of requests you can submit depend on your visa type as well as where you are in your program (i.e. newly arrived, currently enrolled, on opt). You can initiate a request by clicking one of the request icons and filling out the form.
            
5. Changing your profile photo:
   
    
   1. Click Change Picture
      
   2. Select the photo you want from your computer and click Open
      
       
   3. This should update your photo in the ISSS Student Portal.
